He is survived by: his former wife Carol Backner; his daughters, Lisa Blackner and Cherie Verdenburgh (Glen); his granddaughters, Georganna Verdenburgh and Autumn Verdenburgh (Matt Shaulis); his great grandchild Na-Ryiah Johnson; and his siblings, Dorothy Conzo, Gene Blackner (Sally) and Gerry Blackner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and special family friends.
