He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent E. Hartnett and Irene E. Hartnett (Siehl); his wife Rosalyn Hartnett (Smith); his children, Karen Spencer and Patrick Donald Hartnett; and his siblings, Dr. Robert Hartnett and Barbara Griffin.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Justin Spencer (Mona), Hannah and Hunter Hartnett; and his son-in-law Rick Spencer.
