She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bush and Myra Leslie Bush; her husband Charles A. Rogers; her daughter Doris A. Fields; her son-in-law Horace Fields; and her siblings, William, Leslie, Russell, Thelma Bush, Iris Smith and Mally Mangum.
She is survived by: her children, Debra, Alexander (Missy), Sharon, Condis and Sabrina; her grandchildren, Christine Bush, Thalia Osei, Tashianna Kwakye (Kofi), John Gordon (Chrystal), Wilson Smith (Shelena Hockenberry), Lorraine Bush-Lauver (Michael), Alexander Jr., Shaneisa Smith-Magambo (Eric), Jennifer Bush, Andre Bush, Gregory Bush, Marquita Bush-Howard (John Jackson) and Trevon Haskins; her godsons, Harvey Rowe (Tomiko) and Blake Griggs; her sisters, Edith Bush, Emma Mangum and Etta Coleman; and her brother-in-law Henry Mangum. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers she asks that donations be made to the Pastors Aide Committee, which she presided over.
