He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Arthur and Regina Karnes (Oswald); and his siblings, Charles, Betty, Rosemary and Robert.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen (Morey); his stepsons, John and Garth; his sister Kathleen Plummer; and his niece Nancy Karnes. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made in Ed's name to the Cambria County Humane Society.
