She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hritz and Katherine Hritz (Urbassik); her husband Larry Jay DeAngelo; and her siblings, Thomas, George, Walter, Anna, Pauline, Gertrude, Caroline, Dorothy, Katherine and Sophie.
She is survived by: her children, Janet (Edward Zebner), Larry DeAngelo (Janet), Robert DeAngelo (Lynne), Thomas DeAngelo (Dorothy), Joseph DeAngelo (Macarena), Phyllis (Charles Weible) and Rodney DeAngelo (Carianne Weakland); and her siblings, Alvin, Mildred, Phyllis and Richard. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
Donations may be made in Emma's memory to St. Gregory and Barnabas Parish.
