He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Burkardt and Ann Burkardt (Denk); his wife Marian (Vivian); his siblings, Anna Marie Schropp, Ruth Riley, Martha Safko, Thelma Drummond and Thomas; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Schropp, Clete Riley, Melvin Drummond and James Kleinosky.
He is survived by: his siblings, Florence Kleinosky, Magdalene (Henry Bunk), Delores Burkardt and Joseph Burkardt (Carol); his brother-in-law Frank Safko; and his niece Betty Jean Wissinger. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
