He was predeceased by: his mother Genevieve Schilling; his siblings, Leroy Schilling and Geraldine Hornick; and his parents-in-law, Tom Trotz, Nancy Claar and Deborah Trotz.
He is survived by: his father Samuel A. Schilling; his significant other Patricia; his children, Samuel and Jennifer; his son-in-law Tony Hooper; his granddaughters, Ava, Olivia and Grace Hooper; his sister Connie; and his parents-in-law, Jenny Trotz, Robert Trotz, William Trotz (Tara), Sharon Kusher (Rudy), Carol Audey (George) and Larry Claar. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gary's memory may be made to the family.
