It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Houghton Jr. (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), born in Salix, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 4, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edgar and Helen Houghton (Eash); his sister Gloria Van Slooten; and his daughter-in-law Michele Houghton. He is survived by: his wife Sally M. (Saintz); his children, Cindy Clair (William), Leshia Stufft (Keith), Marcia Cahill (Bryan), Laura Wissinger (Dan), David Houghton, Jennifer Crocco (Christopher) and Dan Hill (Janice); and his siblings, Dennis (Betty), Roger (Peggy), Cheryl Kovalsky (Dave), Union Carpenter and Superintendent. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren Building Fund, 856 Benshoff Hill Road, Johnstown, PA 15905.
