He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Mowrey and Alice Mowrey (Buhite); his wife Thelma Mowrey; his brother Lee; and his sister-in-law Linda (Donald).
He is survived by: his brothers, Larry (Arlene) and Donald (Evey); and his children, Dr. Philip (Pamela) of Chantilly, VA, Paul (Nancy) of Slippery Rock, PA and Dr. Rebecca of Lancaster, PA.. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
