He was predeceased by : his parents, Andrew Suskie and Nellie Suskie (McQuillan); his wife Betty; and his brothers, Larry, Hammy and Joe.

He is survived by : his children, Barry (Georgette) and Bonnie Gartland Frey; and his grandchildren, Kris Suskie, Jocelyn and Joshua Gartland. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
