She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Eppley and Colina Eppley (Gaston); her husband Niel Dwight Shaffer; her daughter Lisa Pace; and her siblings, Richard Eppley Jr., Lester Eppley, Charles Eppley and Dorothy Bailey.
She is survived by: her sister Shirley Rice. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 18 great - grandchildren.
