It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann Gornick of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 5, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Daroczy and Eliza Daroczy (Howlett); her husband Stanley "Stush" Gornick Jr.; and her sisters, Susana Janakovich and Sharon Filat.
She is survived by: her sisters, Etta Solecki (Edward) and Lynn "Doll" Daroczy of East Stroudsburg, PA.. She is also survived by 6 nieces, 6 great nieces and nephew, 6 great great nieces and nephews, and additional family members.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA, in memory of Joann Gornick.
