He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pietron and Agnes Pietron (Hebda); his wife Anna Marie Pietron (Carino); his son Richard; and his siblings, Stanley, Frank, Walter, Edward, Ted, Anthony and Verne Johnston.
He is survived by: his children, John M. Pietron III (Jacklyn), Marlene Krawczyk (Stanley) and David Pietron (Janet); his sister-in-law Suzanne Pietron; his grandchildren, Jeremy Pietron, Jennifer Wachter (Jim), Theresa Krawczyk, Melissa Kane (Dave), Jessica Brewer (Steven), David Pietron (Becca), Christopher Pietron (Justina), Rich Pietron (Cassie) and Matthew Pietron; his great grandchildren, Alyssa Buzzard (Nathan), Faith, Alexis, Tyler, Abby, Mason, Brayden, Logan, David, Daniel, Dylan, Harper, Hailey, Caleb and Carson; and his great great grandchild Leonna. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
