He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Brzana and Frances Brzana (Korzuckowski); his wife Elaine (Hamaty); and his siblings, Barbara Horwath, Mary Slovak, Sophie Cerwinsky, Helen Bonitz, Betty Brida, Theresa Vennarini, John Brzana, Tom Brzana and Mike Brzana.
He is survived by: his sister Hedy Carrara (Bob); his children, Dr. Ron Brzana (Joan), Mike Brzana, Mary Jo Byroade (Jeff) and Naomi Brzana; his grandchildren, Ethan, Dr. Emily (David) and Elyse; his niece Gale Sipe (Terry); his brother-in-law Dr. Ron Hamaty (Linda); and his sister Elaine. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Benedict's Catholic Church and Windber Hospice.
