He was predeceased by: his pet Mu-Shu. He is survived by: his parents, Terrence W. Mattes and Rose M. Mattes (Haynal); his siblings, Jason Mattes, Holly Yarnick (Scott), Heather Facci (John) and Joshua Mattes (Jessica); his nieces and nephews, Emily, Autumn, Austin, Ali, Aiden and Olivia; and his godparents, Steve and Fran Haynal.
