He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Grecek and Helen Grecek (Smarto). He is survived by: his wife Jeanne M. (Franke); his son Leonard S. (Rachel); his granddaughter Isabella; his son Jeffrey (Madeline); his grandchildren, Trenton, Devon and Emma; and his siblings, Francis (Joan) and Cynthia Kline (Michael). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
