He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank L. Wilson and Hilda Wilson (Schmidt); his wife Hazel (Huston); his daughter Eileen Kay; his grandson Jacob Gruss; his siblings, Sara Hoffman, John and Paul; and his son-in-law Robert Rush.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gail Rush of Stephen City, VA and Donna Gruss (Burl Knupp) of New Florence, PA.; his grandchildren, Jody Chesla (Jason) of York, PA, Sara Stehle (Jeremy) of Fairfax, VA, John Gruss IV (Amber) of Round Hill, VA and Kaysee Gruss (Robert Dwyer) of Centreville, VA; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Joseph, Jessica Chesla, Jackson, Erin, Anna Stehle and Isaac Gruss.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
