It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Simanski (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), born in South Fork, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 16, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Rice and Hazel Rice (Penrod); her siblings, David, Harold Rice and Olive; and her daughter-in-law Theresa Simanski.
She is survived by: her husband Ray; her sons, David of La Vale, MD and Steven (Patti); and her grandsons, David II and Austin.
The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to Mt. Hope United Methodist Church in memory of Marlene L. Simanski.
