She was predeceased by: her parents, James Emory and Margaret Sabo (Frameli); and her granddaughter Haile Slusser. She is survived by: her son Robert J. Slusser (John Laird); her granddaughter Jessica Slusser; and her siblings, Frederick W. Sabo (Melissa) and Margaret "Lucy" McAdams. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family suggest donations be made to the Humane Society in her name.
