With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Hilbrecht (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 15, 2021 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mattern and Katherine Mattern (Mattern); and her husband Robert. She is survived by: her son-in-law Henry Streilein; her daughters, Carol Streilein of Johnstown, Gretchen (Donald Hakkinen) of Doylestown and Cynthia (David Snavely) of Charlestown, WV.; and her grandchildren, Jon H. Streilein of Johnstown and Dr. Lauren A. Hakkinen (Michael Gleicher) of Doylestown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
