He was predeceased by: his parents, John Y. Scruton and Esther Scruton (Dow); his wife Marjorie Ellen "Marge" (Durgin); and his siblings, Raymond and Marjorie St. Pierre.
He is survived by: his sister Carolyn Ryder of Florida.
