He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph, Sr. Hamer and Myrtle Hamer (Edwards); his sister Anna Mae Tracy; his daughter Laurie Ann Parks; and his grandsons, Andrew Lee and William David Hamer.
He is survived by: his spouse Florabelle (Woods); his children, Rev. Ralph W. Hamer, III (Monica), Devie Ann (Harry Fultz) and Wendie Lee; his grandchildren, Daniel and Elaina Hamer; his sisters-in-law, Sandra Shepherd and Dorothy Morris (Tom); his nephew Richard Shepherd; his nieces, Candace Clemens (Tracy) and Kosie Shepherd-Porada (Mike); his child Paige Boyer; and his granddaughter Danielle Boyer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the family will be having private services.
