He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Hillegass and Florence E. Hillegass (Shaffer). He is survived by: his wife Alice Hillegass (Boothman); his children, Ralph James and Heidi Hillegass; his stepsons, Howard, Scott and Eric; and his pet Patches. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
