He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence and Ida Ickes Sr. (Granata); his wife Carol L. Ickes; his siblings, Frances Ickes and Clarence Ickes Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Frankofsky and Judy.
He is survived by: his children, Theresa Custer, Raymond Ickes Jr., Tammi Correy (Samuel) and Shawn Ickes (Courtney); and his grandchildren, Amanda, Athena, Raeley, Shaylin, Trista, Cara and Elayna. He is also survived by two great grandchildren on the way; sisters-in-law and their spouses; and numerous nieces and nephews.
