He is survived by: his parents-in-law, Richard, Shirley Wendell, William Harris, Robert Novitsky and Larry McCann; his wife Yvonne Dernar (Keslar); his children, Sherry Helmick (Dernar), Gregory Dernar (Barbara Ellenberger) and David Dernar (Bridgette Brezovic); and his grandchildren, Alexa Helmick, Tyler Helmick, Michael Dernar, Matthew Dernar, Rebecca Dernar, Zachary Dernar and Nicholas Josephson. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
