He was predeceased by: his parents, George Knipple and Ethel Knipple (Ressler); his stepmother Theora Knipple (Christner); his daughter Susan Pipon; and his siblings, Jeanne Gall, Edna Mae Robel and Brace Lynn Knipple.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Knipple (Miklaucic); his children, Kevin (Marcia Mock), Karen Bender (Chip), Geistown and Melissa Washinger (Robert); his son-in-law Joseph Pipon; his grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Victoria, Miranda, Joseph Jr., Steven, Michael and Addison; his brothers, George, Charles "Chap" (Sally), Warren "Pete" (Barbara) and Raymond (Barbara); and his sister-in-law Judy Wyandt (Charlie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
His family suggests donations can be made to the Johnstown American Legion Post #294, 114 Main Street, Johnstown, PA 15901 in memory of Bob.
