He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray S. Alwine and Ruth Alwine (Wirick); and his siblings, Ray Alwine Jr. (Twila), Kenneth Alwine and Janie Markum.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra L. Alwine (Rawlings); his children, Ronald Alwine Jr. (Suzanne), Sally (Kelly Stemmler) and Scott Alwine (Lindsey); his grandchildren, Ryan Alwine, Gabriella Ruocco, Joanna Ruocco, Kenneth Alwine, Samantha Stemmler, Stephen Stemmler, Margot Alwine, Camden Alwine and Holden Alwine; his siblings, Lavonne (Leonard Adams), Robert Alwine and Shirley (Phil Moyer); and his sister-in-law Evie Alwine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
