He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorsey Grasser and Mary R. Grasser (Bowker); his stepmother Ethel Wagner Grasser; his son Mark; his siblings, James, Bill, John "Jack", Ken, Joyce, Donnie Ray, Genevieve "Dolly" and Mary; and his stepbrother Albert Montgomery.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey (Ascher); his children, David (Carla), Stephen (Jody) and Thomas (Diane); his grandchildren, Carrie, Nicole, Russell, Kayla, Jackie, Keith and Stephen; and his siblings, Lindy, Ethel "Darlene", Harry, Leonard "Gene" and Betty. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Russell's memory to Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren, 1068 Bedford St. Johnstown, PA 15902 or St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
