She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmer C. George and Sara J. George (Williams); her former husband J. Ronald Nipps; her husband Robert J. Troutman; her sisters, Jane George and Elma Whinnie; and her stepson James Troutman.
She is survived by: her children, James R. Nipps, Jr. and Nancy R. Heeman; her stepdaughter Ruth A. Bell; and her siblings, Ida Mae Hughey and William L. George of Placerville, CA.. She is also survived by 4 Grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren; and 6 step-great-grandchildren.
