Sara Varner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara Varner (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 5, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel E. Harvey and Margaret Harvey (Litzinger); her husband Robert Varner; her siblings, Jane, Dorothy, Ann, Mary, Evelyn, Earl, Tom, Don, Robert and John; her children-in-law, John "Jack" Stephens, George Flora, Ivan "Doc" Hullihen and Bettina Varner (Strek); her grandchildren, Rebecca Alberter, Sherry Stephens, Amanda Kimmel and Josh Kimmel; and her great great grandchild Raiden Varner.
She is survived by: her children, Katherine Flora of Quarryville, PA, Robert Varner (Helen), Ernest Varner (Kim), Patricia Alberter (Lisa) and Sally Kimmel (Larry); and her brother Lester "Butch" Harvey (Wanda). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.
