She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Hostetler and Alice Hostetler (Peterson); her husband Paul; her siblings, Ronald (Lois), Robert "Chip" (Beverly) and Beryl (Willard Daughenbaugh); and her son-in-law Shelbe Burtnett.
She is survived by: her children, Connie O'Connor (Leon), Jim (Sandy), MaryAlice "Cookie" Burtnett, Brian (Cheryl) and Sheila Berkebile (William); her grandchildren, Sean (Molly), Carla (Amber), Troy, Travis (Kelli), Holly (Brad), Heather (Brad) and Brittney; and her great grandchildren, Kaia, Dakota, Sawyer, Ivy and Iris.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Shirley's name at Belmont United Methodist Church.
