Stephen Guy Unger Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen Guy Unger (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on December 23, 2021 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Stephen Guy Unger to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Unger and Mary Louise Unger (Pingatore); his wife Patricia L. Unger (Fisher); and his brothers-in-law, James, Robert E., Jr. and Richard Fisher.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Jo (Thomas Reighard); his grandchildren, Thomas Jr. of Harrisburg, PA and Nicholas of Harrisburg, PA; his sisters-in-law, Donna (Eugene Molnar), Mundys Corner, JoAnn Fisher (Pender), Nancy Fisher (Mateer) and Vinco; and his aunt Ruth Stumpo (Pingatore). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many special friends.
Prior to the pandemic he was assisting with preparations for the Cambria County Regional Firefighter Association's 100th Anniversary celebration.
The family suggests contributions be directed to the Church of the Transfiguration or to the Conemaugh Independence Volunteer Fire Company in memory of Stephen.
