With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen Sakmar of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 19, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Sakmar and Stephen Sakmar; his son Tom Sakmar; and his sister Dorothy Ditko. He is survived by: his wife Agnes Marie Sakmar; his children, Phil (Elizabeth Sakmar), Nancy (Paul Turnley) of Wexford, PA, Dave Sakmar, Jane (Jim Spisak) and Donna (Foster Wallace); and his sister Josephine Demo. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

Donations can be made to either EWTN, Irondale, Alabama or Bishop McCort High School in memory of Mr. Sakmar.
