She was predeceased by: her sister Melissa Thiel. She is survived by: her parents, James Thiel and Cynthia Thiel (Long); her siblings, Wendy Ramirez (Ron), Scott Thiel (Stephanie) and Todd Thiel; and her pet Lucy. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Donations may be made in Tara's memory to the Cambria County Humane Society.
