He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Purelli; his stepmother Rosalie Hines; his children, Scott Hines (Stacey), Wally S. Hines (Brittany), Christopher Hines (Sarah), Haley Helmick (David) of Johnstown, Devin Helmick (Dalone) of Johnstown and Kasey Helmick (Henry) of Pipersville; his grandchildren, Sarah, Austin, Jackson, Maddingly, Aubrey and Jace; his cousin Beverly Rochford; and his siblings, Jeff Gates and Alicia Howard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
