He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jones and Helen Jones (Fisher); his wife Joyce Jones (Mishler); and his brother William Jones. He is survived by: his sons, Walter Jones Jr. (Dale Borough) and Robert Mishler; and his brothers, Charles Jones (Emma), Earl Jones (Linda) and Walnut Grove.
