Kane Sr. of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 5, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father John A. Kane Jr.; his stepmother Hilda M. Kane (Hielman); his mother Constance Ann Bird (Rogers); his stepfather Joe Bird; his parents-in-law, Walter and Mary Raymond; his sister Judy Bird; and his brother-in-law Michael McCarthy.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Kane (Raymond); his children, William Kane Jr. (Angela) of Laporte, IN and Jeana M. Kane of Valpraiso, IN; his siblings, Susie Lewis (Steve), Jill McCarthy, Patricia Reed (Jamie), Kenneth Bird (Griselda), Nancy Bird (George), Gregory Bird, Arthur Kane, Kathleen Kosares (Paul), Carolyn Gailhouse (Dan) and Nancy Dixon (Dan); his grandchildren, Beth, Jimmy, Branden and William Kane; his great grandchildren, Adriana and Ike; his sisters-in-law, Carol Kayser (Don) and Joyce Stenger (Tom); and his pets, Sammy and Sweetie Pie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
