He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Zarnick and Sylvia Zarnick (Spetic); and his sister Germaine Zarnick. He is survived by: his sisters, Kathy Ahlberg (Jim) of Wilcox and Victoria Zarnick of Warren; his siblings' children, Kara Parrish (Kris), Kristin Dunmire (Matt), Dana Ahlberg (Jonathan Johnson) and Lee Zarnick; and his pet Elmer.

Memorial donations may be made to the McKean County SPCA or Penn Highlands DuBois Hahne Cancer Center.
