She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl "Ted" and Evelyn B. Peterson Cuthbertson; her husband Eugene L. "Smokey" Swanson; her sister Marilyn Tunall; her siblings-in-law, Paul V. Swanson and Alice Swanson; and her grandson Brian D. Lorenzo.
She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia M. Lorenzo of Kane; her grandchildren, Kristin M. Lorenzo and Daniel W. Lorenzo (Nicole Salerno) of Kane; her brother William Cuthbertson (Diane) of Warrenton, VA; her sister-in-law Diane L. Hayes Cuthbertson of Sterling, VA; and her sibling's children, Annette Cuthbertson of Sterling, VA, Susan Harris (Jeff) of Sterling, VA, Cheri Larson (Norm Asel) of Kane, Sarah Bouquin (George) of Monahans, Texas and Thomas Swanson (Rita) of California.
