He was predeceased by: his parents, William Beckwith and Hildegard Beckwith (Burgeson); his former wife Helen Beckwith (O'Connor); and his siblings, William Beckwith Jr., Donald Beckwith, Lenore Swanson and Janet Harbison.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Eck; his sons, Richard Beckwith and Randall Beckwith of Chicago, IL; his stepchildren, Marli Kimball (Richard) of Victor, NY, Carrie Klaiber (Roger) of Kane and Steven Eck of Midlothian, VA; his sister Mary Jo Hannold of Kane; his grandchildren, Nicole Beck, Natasha Eck, Regan Eck, Alexis Eck, Elyse DeLauro, Connor Kimball, Dalton Kimball and Nick DeLauro; and his great grandchild Israel Boyd. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
