It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jane Mahoney (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary Jane shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary Jane farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Downs and Charlotte Downs; and her brother Jim Downs (Cathy). She is survived by: her husband Douglas; her children, Brad Barnes (Stef) and Kathy Lee Tedesco (Andy); her grandchildren, Lily (Parker), Andrew, Ben, Avery and Matt; and her great grandchild Malakai. She is also survived by her brother PJ Downs (Pam) and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bellevue Christian Church (680 Lincoln Ave, Bellevue, PA 15202).
