She was predeceased by: her husband Jacob Henry Schmidt; her parents, Charles McKinley Hughes and Viola Alice Harkin Hughes; her daughter Debra Lynn Miller; and her siblings, Betty Marshman, Mary Cleary, Charles Hughes, Peggy Snyder and Robert Hughes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lorrie Johnson of Kinzer and Beth Henson (Donald) of Conway. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
