He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis H. Farster and Freda Z. Farster (Meyer); his daughter Kathryn "Kathy" Stewart Ross (Farster); his grandsons, Derrick B. Stubrich and Denver Stubrich; and his siblings, Donald Farster and Thelda Crownover (Farster).
He is survived by: his wife Lois Jane Farster (Anderson); his children, Shirley Stubrich (Dennis) of Kittanning and Ronald Farster of Kittanning; his grandchildren, Crystal Stewart, Tonya Polka (Jared), Donnie Farster (Chelsea DiMaio Fetterman), Corissa Roup (Jake) and Denten Stubrich; his great grandchildren, Robert Stubrich Stivason, Madeline Hemke, Austin Hemke, Amanda Treese (Ray), Crystal Stivason, Nowah Stivason, Izyck Stivason, Elizabeth Stubrich, Ethan Stubrich, Cheyanne Roup, Cherish Roup, Charity Roup, Wrenleigh Grooms, Tommy Fetterman of Lydia Fetterman, C. J and Trinety Polka; and his great great grandchildren, Adam Treese, Christian Treese and Theda Stivason.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Clark Chapel of the Bauer Funeral Home (238 S Main St, Elderton, PA 16023). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
