It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Crone of Knox, Pennsylvania, born in Franklin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 6, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilmer Crone and Juanita Crone; his nephew Alan Crone; and his parents-in-law, Mildred and Ralph McIlhattan.

He is survived by : his wife Linda McIlhattan; his children, Steven Crone (Anna) of Lafayette Hill, PA, Julie McConnell of Knox and Barbara Switzer (Ron) of Knox; his grandchildren, Greg Crone (Allie) of Philadelphia, Matt Crone (Mary-Jo Horgan) of Philadelphia, Mike Crone of Philadelphia, Jim McConnell (Kayla) of Shippenville, Kari Burish (Josh Wilkins) of Bellefonte, Kyle McConnell of Knox, Jenny McConnell of Knox, Jakie B. Switzer (Brandi Hetrick) of Knox and Chelsea Dukes (Jordan) of Clarion; his great grandchildren, Alexandria, Zoen, Isabella, Teagan, King, Felicity, Emaleena, Benton and Grace; and his brother John Crone of Warren, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Knox Union Cemetery or the Knox Area Volunteer Ambulance Co. The family would like to thank the nurses on 3 South Wing of UPMC Northwest for the tremendous care Chuck received there.
