She was predeceased by : her parents, Bertha (Gertsch) of Switzerland and Forton of Italy; her husband Mont Chapman; her son William "Bill" Chapman (Bud Bowser); her stepson Brian Bowser; and her siblings, Pauline Norton (Edward), Evelyn Murphy (Ginny) and Fred Caligiuri (Ann).
She is survived by : her former life partner Harold R. "Bud" Bowser; her great grandchild McKenzie; her son Monty Chapman of Jacksonville, FL; her sister Mary Remington of Charlotte, MI; her stepchildren, Harold R. "Buddy" Bowser (Debra), Leslee Burch (Bob), Michele Carroll and Nina Rowan (Rex); and her grandchildren, Monty Chapman, Jr. (Shelly), Brig Kimes, Jessica Reed (Mark), Bill Chapman (Cindy), Lance Burch (Jessie), Jeff Burch (Bekki), Leslee Carroll, Florence Carroll, Graham Rowan, Sarah Rowan and Jason Harris (Michelle). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
