With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis Merkel (Kutztown, Pennsylvania), born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 5, 2019 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lee Merkel and Eva Neffs (Bowman); his wife Connie; his children, Jeffrey L. Merkel (Georgine D.), Allentown, Eric R. Merkel (Alicia M.), Topton, Alyssa N. Solt (Christopher J. Solt) and Kutztown; his grandchildren, Taylar, Sierra, Dylan, Cooper and Lucas; and his siblings, Wanda L. Breitfeller (Robert Breitfeller) and Scott L. Merkel.
