She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd M. and Doris Newman; her siblings, Wilbert Brown, Gary Brown, Alden Brown and Laura Lee Baker; and her in-laws, Max Russick, Virginia Brown, George Smith, David Baker, Clarence Williams, Sam Smith and Bobby Schoonover.
She is survived by: her husband Roland "Ronnie" Schoonover of Black Walnut, PA; her sons, James Brown (Shelly) of Black Walnut, PA and Ronald "Boo" Schoonover of Black Walnut, PA; her siblings, Dennis Brown (Linda) of Charlotte, NC, Floyd "Tim" Brown (Sandra) of Montrose, PA, Connie Lippner (David) of Wysox, PA, Karen Russick of Lakeland, FL, Mary Lou Smith of Meshoppen, PA and Rebecca Smith of Pittston, PA; and her in-laws, Joyce Vellas (Roger) of Dallas, PA and Linda Chmielowiec (Dave) of Manheim, PA..
