We bid farewell to Hildegarde Morgan of Laceyville, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 27, 2025 at the age of 82. Hildegarde touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Baumann and Ethel Baumann (Fichtmann); and her close friend Sandy Vieczorek. She is survived by: her husband Gary Morgan; her daughter Dr. Shannon Stevens (Daniel Horvath); her former husband Jay Stevens; her sister Jennie Pitkus; her sibling's children, Amy David (Adam) and Michael Pitkus (Kristen Werner); her cousin John Temps (Harriet); her close friend Erica Rogler (Omar Camacho); and her friend Susquehanna Counties.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dietrich Theater (60 E Tioga St, Tunkhannock, PA 18657). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Hildy's memory can be made to the Dietrich Theater, 60 E. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657 or the charity of your choice keeping in mind that she loved animals.
