Erma Jean left this world on July 27, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Erma Jean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Erma Jean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Beavers and Erma Beavers (Black); and her daughter Julie Corcoran. She is survived by: her husband William J. Corcoran; her children, Mark Corcoran of Honesdale and Wendy Corcoran of Honesdale; her goddaughter Candiace Ropke; and her siblings, Joyce Jones (Rod), Leona Marchington (William) of Maplewood and Clyde Beavers (MaryAnn) of Elmhurst.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Hessling Murray Funeral Home (428 Main St, Honesdale, PA 18431). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at the Funeral Home Hessling Funeral Home (428 Main St, Honesdale, PA 18431).
