He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara H. Kendzierski; his parents, Stanley Kniss and Blanche Lisowski Kniss of Mary's Church; and his siblings, Stanley Kniss and Carol Kniss. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
